Porseleinberg Swartland Syrah – 2018
Focused, subtle, and beautifully restrained, this Syrah is delicately oaked and layered with raspberry, wild strawberry, clove, white pepper, and finely textured tannins. Awarded a perfect 100-point score by Tim Atkin in his 2020 South Africa Special Report, this was the first New World wine ever to receive such an honor—cementing South Africa’s place among the world’s elite wine regions. It was also named Wine of the Year by Atkin, underscoring its exceptional pedigree and finesse.
De Grendel – Sir David Graaff First Baronet of Cape Town – 2013
A masterful blend of 80% Shiraz, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petit Verdot. It opens with elegant notes of dried cranberry, unfolding into rich plum, savory cassis, and perfumed sweet tobacco. The finish is long, luscious, and refined, carried by firm, rounded tannins. A true legacy wine, produced in limited quantities and crafted to cellar gracefully for over 20 years.
